KAT Wholesale Outdoor, located in the Kansas City area, is known for our expansive selection of premium-quality plant material and hardscaping products offered exclusively to landscapers and contractors.
We are looking for a caring, detail focused, and team oriented individual to build relationships with customers, learn about their business to help with future needs, and create an overall enjoyable customer experience. The right candidate takes prides in their work and shows commitment to their team and customers.
The Right Candidate Will Have:
Attention to detail including accuracy of customer orders
Ability to effectively communicate information in written and verbal format
Communicate with customers and discuss products and services offered
Solve problems and react to customer needs
Prioritization skills
Ability to multi-task
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and conduct the daily loading and proper handling of plant material for customers
Demonstrate knowledge of the landscape/nursery industry and customer needs.
Daily processing of invoices
Assist customers with landscaping ideas and plant selection
Merchandize sales area
Communicate policy to customers
Help customers with questions regarding availability and location of products
Answer customers questions about plants, hardscapes, and products
Execute assigned tasks by following direction in an accurate and timely manner
Education and Experience Requirements:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required: 1-2 years experience in a Customer Service environment
